Led by founder Matt Whitman, an Orange County native whose construction leadership spans more than three decades, Whitman Design Build is built on trust, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Together, Matt and his wife, Carla, have built more than exceptional homes - they've built a life centered around family, craftsmanship, and serving homeowners with integrity. That shared experience shapes every project, combining disciplined project leadership with genuine care for the people behind it. The result is a building experience that feels organized, transparent, and rewarding from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
Design is led by Carla Whitman, an Inland Empire native whose career has been shaped by more than 35 years creating exceptional homes throughout Coastal Orange County, Hawaii, and Costa Rica. Having raised a family while designing homes of her own, she understands that a truly remarkable home is about more than beautiful finishes - it’s about creating spaces that support the way people live, gather, and grow.
Her experience designing for discerning homeowners has cultivated an intuitive understanding of space, materials, and lifestyle, resulting in homes that feel timeless, personal, and effortlessly elevated.
